Billions of people around the globe go online every day using mobile devices—including children!

For many people who have leapfrogged from traditional media to digital devices, the internet provides instant access to an overwhelming amount of information, as well as misinformation and disinformation. This makes information literacy more important than ever.

Mobile devices—often called “pocket computers”—and information literacy go hand in hand. Children and adults need the skills to find, evaluate, and determine the quality and credibility of the information they encounter online. They also need to understand how to create and share information effectively, responsibly, and securely, especially as artificial intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly embedded in our everyday lives.

Hidden Pioneers offers courses designed to address these growing needs surrounding the “pocket computer.” Parents may find value in helping their children learn the digital “do’s and don’ts” from a Hidden Pioneer 'Cool Educator'— while engaging with others and having fun!

The content is written for all ages K through 14 and structured for group interaction and team building.

Upon the successful completion of each course, the student will receive a 'Certificate of Completion' as well! (Example shown below)
